Senior Windows Server Administrator – Google Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Manage and administer Windows Server environments, including versions 2016, 2022, and 2025.

• Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Windows Failover Clustering.

• Conduct server provisioning, apply patches, perform upgrades, and troubleshoot issues.

• Administer the Google Cloud Platform, focusing on Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, and Monitoring.

• Utilize PowerShell to automate administrative tasks.

• Monitor infrastructure, address incidents, and engage in root cause analysis.

• Implement best practices for security.

• Provide support for backup and disaster recovery processes.

• Sustain and manage a hybrid infrastructure to guarantee high availability, security, and operational excellence.

• Collaborate with Denmark's leading online grocery retailer on its innovative e-commerce platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Windows Server versions 2016, 2022, and 2025.

• At least 2 years of experience with the Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Storage.

• Proficient knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and IIS.

• Prior experience with PowerShell scripting.

• Experience in infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Basic understanding of VMware technology.

• Proficient in English at an intermediate to upper-intermediate level.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID is a plus.

• ITIL Foundation certification is advantageous.

• Google Cloud or Microsoft certifications would be beneficial.

• Successful completion of a background check is required for final candidates.
