This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the administration of U.S. benefits, which encompasses medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FMLA and disability leaves, HSA/FSA, EAP, 401(k), COBRA, voluntary benefits, and associated programs.
• Collaborate on benefits management in the United Kingdom and Germany with local brokers, advisors, payroll teams, and other relevant resources.
• Act as a senior point of contact for employees and managers by clarifying benefit provisions, addressing enrollment and claims concerns, and assisting with sensitive life events.
• Supervise enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, coverage modifications, eligibility audits, carrier feeds, records, and documentation across HRIS, payroll, and vendor systems.
• Direct annual enrollment and renewal processes, which include planning, communication, executive updates, system configuration, testing, and audits.
• Assess utilization, claims, enrollment, benchmarking, costs, and other data to provide recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with benefit providers, brokers, consultants, and external partners on service delivery, issue resolution, renewals, and program modifications.
• Enhance benefit processes, employee comprehension, technology use, and overall employee experience.
• Formulate and progress the employee wellbeing strategy, evaluating participation, outcomes, and organizational value.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of benefits requirements and market practices in the U.S., UK, and Germany.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in employee benefits, including significant hands-on U.S. benefits administration and program leadership.
• Experience in supporting benefits programs in the United Kingdom and Germany.
• Background in a small to midsize organization.
• Proven experience leading annual enrollment, renewals, vendor transitions, plan communications, audits, and HRIS or benefits-platform administration.
• Solid understanding of U.S. health and welfare, retirement, leave, privacy, and compliance regulations.
• Practical knowledge of statutory and market benefits frameworks in the UK and Germany.
• Experience in developing or significantly enhancing employee wellbeing programs and assessing participation, outcomes, and their value.
• Advanced proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration platforms; experience with ADP is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with reporting, collaboration, analytics, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Exceptional project management, vendor management, negotiation, and change management skills.
• Capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
