• You will report directly to the Director of Design while being fully integrated within the Growth team, collaborating daily with CRO specialists, data analysts, SEO, Paid, content teams, and occasionally engineers. Your role is to ensure our marketing sites are quick to modify, visually appealing, aligned with our brand, and optimized for conversions — all without needing an engineer for every minor adjustment.
• Your journey will begin with Home Gnome, where you will build it from the ground up using Webflow. Following that, you will transition LawnStarter, Lawn Love, and ProBase into a component-based Webflow architecture. This is an opportunity to establish how all four brands present themselves online.
• Create and sustain a componentized, scalable Webflow configuration across all brands — featuring clean components, well-organized CMS collections, and a framework that allows the team to operate swiftly without compromising quality.
• Partner with CRO on testing initiatives, swiftly create new landing pages, and implement page and template modifications so the Growth team can conduct experiments without delays.
• Uphold WCAG compliance and ensure that every page functions effectively for all users. This is not an afterthought — it is a necessity.
• A Webflow expert. You have constructed and managed complex, multi-page Webflow sites with real architectural integrity — not just aesthetically pleasing single pages. You are knowledgeable about component architecture, CMS collections, dynamic content, interactions, and maintaining a large site’s cleanliness and performance. If you have only used Webflow for small projects or view it merely as a visual tool rather than a development platform, this role may not be suitable for you.
• A high-caliber visual designer. You possess a keen eye and uphold high standards for contemporary design and usability. Your pages are modern, refined, and comparable to the best marketing sites available online. You prioritize typography, spacing, hierarchy, usability, accessibility, and the fine details that distinguish good design from great. If visual design is secondary to your development abilities or you rely heavily on templates without enhancing them, this role may not be the right match.
• Growth-team fluent. You have collaborated with CMOs, SEO teams, paid teams, content teams, CRO specialists, data analysts, and engineers in the past. You comprehend conversion funnels, A/B testing, and how to support experiments and implement changes efficiently. Your decisions are driven by data rather than just aesthetics. This role may not be a good fit if your experience is limited to brand or product design teams and you are unfamiliar with the pace and priorities of growth.
• Self-directed and quick. You can take a brief, run with it, and deliver results. You do not require someone to manage your tasks or approve every decision. When the Growth team requires a new landing page or a test variant, you can produce it rapidly without compromising quality. This role may not be suitable if you need detailed guidance for each project or prefer a slower, more methodical approach.
• AI-native. You utilize AI tools and platforms like Relume to enhance your workflow — generating component layouts, increasing page production speed, and streamlining repetitive tasks. You are constantly seeking ways to work more efficiently without cutting corners. If you are skeptical of AI tools or insist on building everything from the ground up, this may not be the right fit for you.
• Technically proficient beyond Webflow. You have the capability to write custom code when Webflow's built-in tools fall short — such as custom CSS, JavaScript for tracking implementations, or integrations with platforms like VWO. You are able to collaborate with engineers on technical requirements without needing everything to be explained. This role may not be suitable if you strictly avoid coding or cannot troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Brand-conscious. You can operate within established brand guidelines while advancing visual quality. You collaborate with the brand and product design teams to create components that are on-brand, not just trendy. This may not be a suitable role if you prefer to set your own visual direction or have difficulty designing within constraints.
• Competitive base salary
• Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision
• Fully remote: This position requires close collaboration with the Growth team across different time zones, but the work itself — intensive Webflow builds and design iterations — benefits from focused, uninterrupted time.
• Unlimited PTO: We prioritize results. Take what you need.
