Senior Web Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a technical authority for the development of Python solutions, ensuring effective software architecture and engineering methodologies.

• Create and execute scalable, robust, and resilient systems, guaranteeing high availability and quality of applications.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, QA, etc.) to prioritize tasks and deliver value to customers.

• Engage in the complete development lifecycle, from the conceptualization of solutions to implementation and production deployment.

• Contribute to the advancement of DevOps processes and tools (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and observability).

• Perform code reviews, mentor colleagues, and foster a culture of quality and teamwork.

• Support the maintenance and evolution of components within the legacy platform (Ruby on Rails).

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Python development, including frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, along with adherence to best practices (PEP 8, typing, etc.).

• Expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis).

• Proficient in using Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.

• Skilled in designing and utilizing REST APIs.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent).

• Knowledge of observability and monitoring practices (OpenTelemetry, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
