Senior Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Guide a team of developers by offering mentorship, performing code evaluations, and promoting a culture of technical excellence.

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions utilizing WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Establish and uphold technical standards and best practices for the team.

• Work closely with product managers and designers to outline project scope.

• Manage website hosting, domain administration, and infrastructure, prioritizing performance, security, and uptime.

• Create, develop, and sustain custom websites on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and Elementor.

• Spearhead the application of technical and on-page SEO best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in WordPress and/or Shopify development.

• Extensive expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Strong experience with the Next.js framework.

• Proficient in Figma — able to navigate prototypes, inspect specifications, and independently convert designs into fully responsive, production-ready builds without ambiguity or assistance.

• Experience in delivering both internal web properties and client-facing projects from Figma to launch.

• Practical, production experience with Claude Code.

• Practical experience with Elementor and Webflow.

• Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring a development team.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
