This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Global Brand and Communications, Senior Director of Member Marketing, Director of Brand Journalism, product marketing leaders, and internal stakeholders to ascertain video requirements across EO campaigns, products, events, and leadership communications.
• Convert strategic objectives into distinct video concepts, creative briefs, storyboards, scripts, shot lists, and production plans.
• Craft video-centric storytelling concepts that align with EO’s brand pillars: community, learning, leadership development, and growth.
• Conduct or oversee interviews with EO members, leaders, partners, and staff to reveal genuine, emotionally impactful stories.
• Ensure that all video content embodies EO’s voice: authentic, welcoming, inspiring, and expansive.
• Act as the primary in-house video editor for various EO content types, including social media videos, member stories, campaign videos, product explainers, leadership messages, event recaps, and internal communications.
• Edit short-form and mid-form videos using raw footage, interviews, b-roll, user-generated content, screen recordings, event footage, and stock assets.
• Construct engaging story arcs utilizing interviews, voiceovers, music, pacing, graphics, captions, and visual transitions.
• Produce different versions of videos tailored for various platforms, such as websites, social media, emails, presentations, events, and OneEO.
• Oversee translated video versions, including captions, subtitles, text overlays, and alternate language files in collaboration with EO’s language services team.
• Lead production planning for video projects, encompassing schedules, budgets, roles, equipment requirements, call sheets, interview guides, location needs, shot lists, and release specifications.
• Coordinate virtual and in-person video shoots with members, staff, vendors, agencies, and event teams.
• Develop scopes of work, production timelines, creative direction, and feedback processes for freelance and contracted partners.
• Ensure that video content adheres to EO’s visual identity, tone, accessibility, editorial, and brand messaging standards.
• Collaborate with creative services to ensure that graphics, typography, templates, colors, and logo usage are consistent with EO brand standards.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on vendor, agency, and freelancer cuts to ensure creative quality and strategic alignment.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred in film, video production, journalism, communications, visual arts, marketing, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be taken into account.
• A minimum of seven years of experience in video production, video editing, brand storytelling, digital media, journalism, documentary production, or content marketing.
• A strong portfolio showcasing edited video work, including examples of interview-based storytelling, social-first content, brand videos, event recaps, or campaign material.
• Advanced proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable tools.
• Working knowledge of captions, audio editing, color correction, file compression, and export specifications.
• Experience in motion graphics is highly desirable, including the capability to create or adapt branded graphics, lower thirds, animated text, transitions, and reusable templates.
• Proven experience in producing video content from concept to delivery, encompassing scripting, planning, editing, feedback rounds, and final versioning.
• Strong storytelling abilities with a knack for transforming interviews, events, or complex ideas into clear and emotionally engaging video content.
• Experience directing or interviewing individuals on camera, particularly non-professional speakers.
• Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and vendors simultaneously.
• Experience managing freelancers, agencies, videographers, editors, or production partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, global environment.
• High attention to detail and robust organizational habits for managing files, feedback, footage, and final assets.
• Experience in a matrixed, global, nonprofit, association, membership, or entrepreneurial environment is advantageous.
• Experience working with global teams, international audiences, or culturally diverse member communities is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; multilingual ability is a significant plus, particularly in one or more of EO’s priority languages.
