Senior VHA Program Analyst – Facilities Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Acts as the primary Contractor representative for each designated program area within the HEFP portfolio.

• Accountable for establishing and upholding work standards, scheduling contractor assignments, evaluating work discrepancies, overseeing contractor personnel, and conveying the organization's policies, objectives, and goals to team members.

• Aids in the onboarding process of contract personnel to the assigned program.

• Collaborates with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), technical representatives, and Contracting Officer (CO) to address any contract-related issues.

• Oversees contract performance within the assigned program, leads briefings for senior management, and is expected to be an acknowledged expert in VHA capital and/or project management.

• Facilitates the identification of risks and variances, coordinating with HEFP Program Engineers for evaluation, delegation, and resolution.

• Monitors and manages project execution within the assigned program area, identifying tasks to be completed and milestones achieved, and follows up with HEFP Program Engineers regarding unresolved issues.

• Supervises contract performance in the designated program area, seeks opportunities for program enhancement, and assigns team members to support these initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must satisfy at least ONE of the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Science in a pertinent medical, engineering, or scientific discipline with a minimum of 15 years of experience.

• Master of Science degree accompanied by 10 years of program management experience.

• 5 years of VA program management experience along with a total of 10 years’ experience.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
