This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work closely with sales leaders and account teams to establish a strategy for delivering value to key accounts.

• Connect with top prospects to identify, comprehend, and quantify their specific challenges and the potential advantages of using dbt.

• Articulate and communicate the dbt Labs value proposition in alignment with customer goals.

• Lead business value assessments/business cases: Clearly convey the realized business impacts and potential economic advantages of new opportunities.

• Perform in-depth analysis of customer workflows and processes, pinpointing opportunities for optimization and enhanced efficiency.

• Develop and present high-quality, executive-level presentations. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to customize solutions that meet the distinct needs of our champions and key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with dbt leadership to create new value-oriented go-to-market strategies that effectively demonstrate product value and expand deal sizes.

• Offer insights on best practices and innovative strategies to maximize the value of dbt Labs solutions.

• Facilitate training sessions and workshops in partnership with dbt Labs enablement to enhance the quality of their discovery process and their understanding of business value and customer excellence.

• Develop scalable programs and tools to support value selling throughout all segments of the go-to-market ecosystem, including Pre-Sale teams, Professional Services, and Marketing.

• Contribute to building the future of the value engineering practice at dbt Labs by developing best practices and tools to enhance the adoption of value-based selling.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in value engineering, management consulting, or a similar customer-facing role.

• Advanced knowledge and experience in value-based selling methodologies.

• Proven track record of constructing and presenting business cases to Economic Buyers and other executives.

• Proficiency in identifying and prioritizing use cases, implementing improvement initiatives, and acting as a change agent for dbt Labs customers by creating a value delivery framework.

• Capability to manage projects across multiple workstreams, including defining scope, expectations, timelines, and deliverables. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to make decisive actions in situations with ambiguous guidance and circumstances.
