This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Develop and execute generative and evaluative research in alignment with product and business objectives, utilizing suitable qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Distill research outcomes into concise, actionable insights and produce engaging artifacts that facilitate informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to integrate insights throughout the product lifecycle, influencing choices through effective storytelling and data-driven recommendations.
• Enhance research methodologies, repositories, and best practices to foster continuous discovery and amplify the impact and reach of insights.
• Convert insights into user flows, wireframes, or simple prototypes to convey concepts and validate hypotheses.
• Advocate for a user-centered approach and support research-informed decision-making throughout the organization.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Computer Science, Psychology, or a similar field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in UX research or a related area.
• Robust portfolio showcasing comprehensive research and its measurable impact on product decisions.
• Proficient in integrating qualitative and quantitative data to guide decision-making.
• Capability to interpret complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience leading research initiatives that have influenced product directions or resulted in measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with research tools such as Ballpark, Dig One Upsiide, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc.
• Basic understanding of analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
• Skilled in research and prototyping tools such as Figma and Figjam.
