Senior UX Designer – Clinical Workflow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete UX design process for your product, starting from initial research to implementation and ongoing enhancements, ensuring the production of high-quality user-centered designs that meet both business objectives and user requirements.

• Conduct both generative and evaluative user research, which includes interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to deeply understand user behaviors, motivations, and challenges.

• Utilize insights from user research to develop a comprehensive understanding of user psychology and behaviors, creating user personas, empathy maps, user flows, journey maps, and additional artifacts that inform the design process.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to establish project goals, requirements, and timelines.

• Partner with developers to ensure the effective implementation of design solutions, providing guidance on interaction design and front-end development best practices.

• Convert user insights and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, user-centered design solutions, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that clearly communicate design concepts and interactions.

• Champion the user perspective, ensuring that all design decisions are grounded in user needs and demonstrate how proposed solutions address those needs.

• Present design concepts, solutions, strategies, and user research findings to stakeholders, clearly articulating design rationale and incorporating feedback into future iterations.

• Adhere to and contribute to design guidelines, patterns, and best practices to uphold consistency and cohesion across our digital products.

• Identify and track behavioral analytics for your product that align with product and business objectives. Assist development teams in implementing the necessary analytics.

• Monitor and report on UX metrics that showcase a clear impact and value to the organization and communicate these effectively.

• Remain informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX design methodologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our design methods, processes, and deliverables.

• Mentor and guide junior designers, offering feedback and supporting their growth and development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant or direct professional experience.

• 2+ years of experience in at least one of the three design pillars: user research, interaction design, or visual design.

• 1+ years of effective collaboration within Agile and lean methodologies.

• 1+ years of experience working independently with clients or stakeholders and designing business or enterprise applications.

• 1+ years of experience executing user-centered design methodologies by leading product design decisions from research through to implementation.

• 1+ years of experience using design and prototyping software tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, and InVision.

• 1+ year of experience with modern front-end technologies and open-source frameworks (e.g., Material Design, HTML/CSS, grid systems, responsive design).
