Senior Unity Developer, Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance a substantial, live 3D mobile game.

• Streamline and enhance the content delivery system, incorporating Addressables/asset bundles, remote catalogs, and versioning.

• Analyze and optimize performance and memory usage on low-end Android devices.

• Manage builds and releases utilizing Xcode, Gradle, TestFlight, App Store, and Play Console.

• Work on subscription and in-app purchase processes, including purchase restoration and server-side receipt verification.

• Collaborate with the full-stack team to integrate with backend APIs for progress synchronization and reporting.

• Deliver new gameplay content and minigames as outlined in the product roadmap.

• Act as the technical lead for the Unity aspect of the EdTech product.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Unity/C# development.

• At least one published 3D mobile title.

• Practical experience with Addressables or asset bundles on a large scale.

• Strong mobile optimization capabilities, including use of Unity Profiler, understanding of draw calls, texture compression, and memory management.

• Experience managing iOS and Android build and release processes personally.

• Familiarity with Unity IAP or RevenueCat, preferably with subscription-based products.

• Ability to read and enhance existing code without needing to rewrite it from scratch.

• Proficient written English skills for asynchronous communication within a distributed team.

• High-performance hardware and a reliable internet connection for extensive Unity builds.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with URP, Animator, Timeline, Cinemachine, CI/CD for Unity, children's applications, COPPA compliance, and localization projects.
