This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Moldova, +1 more country.
• Develop and sustain the Unity client for an innovative mobile free-to-play game.
• Create a scalable client architecture that distinctly separates gameplay logic from presentation.
• Collaborate intimately with backend teams, game designers, and live-ops systems.
• Incorporate remote configurations, feature flags, A/B testing, analytics, and live events into the core client structure.
• Build reusable UI systems for dynamic live-ops content and in-game events.
• Establish reliable observability and crash-reporting frameworks.
• Contribute to decisions regarding technical architecture and engineering best practices.
• Partner closely with the CTO to shape long-term technical strategies.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in Unity development.
• Proven experience in launching and managing live mobile games on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong foundation in C# and sound software architectural principles.
• Familiarity with building live-ops, remote configurations, and experimentation frameworks.
• Experience with server-authoritative architectures, such as Nakama, PlayFab, Beamable, AccelByte, or similar.
• Proficient in integrating backend services into Unity clients.
• Experience with headless simulations or automated gameplay testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of AppsFlyer, Unity Version Control, Unity Asset Manager, Datadog RUM, and Firebase Crashlytics.
• Background in developing free-to-play mobile casual or puzzle games (match-3, merge, blast, solitaire, etc.).
• High proficiency in English with a strong vocabulary to communicate effectively in professional settings.
• Ability to thrive in small, agile teams with significant ownership and autonomy.
