Senior UI/UX Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire design process — from initial discovery and research to the creation of high-fidelity prototypes.

• Spearhead UX research, journey mapping, and usability testing to identify user needs and challenges.

• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for both web and mobile platforms.

• Contribute to and uphold a scalable design system.

• Conduct and analyze user research and usability tests to guide design choices.

• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure precise and accessible implementation.

• Operate within an Agile Kanban framework — drafting clear acceptance criteria and managing your tasks through Jira.

• Present design choices and the reasoning behind them to cross-functional stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in UI/UX design within a product-focused environment.

• A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work across web and/or mobile products.

• Proficiency in contemporary design tools such as Figma.

• Experience in a modern tech stack environment — comfortable working with VueJS.

• Practical experience with Jira for task and workflow management.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Kanban methodologies.

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
