Senior UI Artist – Gaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the implementation and refinement of essential player-facing screens, including the lobby, gameplay HUD, progression systems, shop processes, and pop-up interactions.

• Design clean, high-quality UI assets that emphasize readability, hierarchy, composition, and visual clarity.

• Work directly within Unity to incorporate assets into scenes and prefabs in collaboration with developers.

• Play a role in the ongoing visual transformation of the game by enhancing existing flows and elevating the overall quality.

• Assist in creating a more polished, user-friendly, and engaging player experience across all interactions and screens.

• Collaborate closely with Art Direction and UI/UX teams to iterate rapidly and consistently elevate the quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in UI and graphic design principles, including readability, hierarchy, composition, color application, interaction clarity, visual coherence, and information prioritization.

• Proven experience in creating clean, polished, and production-ready UI assets specifically for mobile games.

• Practical experience in integrating UI assets directly within Unity, including working with scenes, prefabs, and implementation processes.

• Background in mobile game development with an understanding of the constraints and expectations of mobile-first UI design, including dense information layouts, readability, and player interaction flows.

• A collaborative approach and comfort in highly iterative and feedback-driven environments.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, contribute ideas, and collaborate effectively within a small team.

• We are particularly keen on candidates who can balance strong visual execution with usability and the realities of production.

• Nice to have: Experience in motion design.

• Familiarity with UI animation and Unity animation workflows.

• Experience in animating buttons, transitions, or interactions.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
