This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Oversee and establish the overall 2D artistic direction and visual quality standards for the game.
• Develop high-quality 2D game assets (characters, environments, props) that serve as benchmarks for the team.
• Promote effective "right design" thinking to enhance clarity, usability, and player experience.
• Guide and elevate the team's output through constructive feedback, art direction, and best practices.
• Leverage AI and relevant tools to expedite ideation, iteration, and production processes.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that visuals support gameplay and user experience.
• Establish and refine art pipelines, workflows, and standards to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Iterate swiftly based on feedback, maintaining strong ownership over visual quality and delivery.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in 2D art or illustration, demonstrating a proven ability to produce high-quality visuals and guide team output.
• Strong grasp of composition, hierarchy, and readability.
• Excellent design thinking skills with the ability to create "right design" that enhances clarity and player experience.
• Profound understanding of target audiences and player behavior, with the capability to make design decisions that align with user needs.
• In-depth knowledge of the casual game market and player preferences.
• Ability to mentor and guide other artists, demonstrating strong ownership and execution.
• Proficient in producing top-quality assets and leading by example.
• Experience with game art pipelines, asset integration, and cross-functional collaboration.
