Senior UAT Tester

📋 Description

• Ensure that software solutions meet business requirements and satisfy end-user expectations.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, business analysts, key users, and development teams.

• Define acceptance criteria and validate end-to-end processes.

• Guarantee the proper functional approval of the system.

• Define, execute, and document UAT tests.

• Validate business flows across web applications, legacy systems, and APIs.

• Analyze results, generate evidence, and manage defects in JIRA.

• Actively participate in refinement sessions, functional reviews, and agile ceremonies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in UAT testing and functional validation (minimum of 5 years).

• Experience working directly with end users and business areas.

• Strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into UAT test cases.

• Experience in end-to-end functional testing, regression, and smoke testing in both production and pre-production environments.

• Functional API validation using tools such as Postman.

• Comprehensive management of defect lifecycle using JIRA Cloud.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum).

• Experience in DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments.

• Strong documentation skills, evidence generation, executive reporting, and result alignment with business.

• Ability to coordinate and facilitate acceptance testing sessions with end users.
