Senior Quality Engineer

📋 Description

• Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing across intricate enterprise workflows.

• Ensure data integrity through SQL; accurately trace defects across multi-system environments.

• Oversee and maintain test cases in TestRail; manage work items in Azure DevOps.

• Work closely with engineering teams — clearly communicate findings and serve as a quality advocate.

• Develop towards automation ownership utilizing Playwright or similar frameworks as the role progresses.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in Quality Engineering - strong foundational knowledge, beyond just test execution.

• Proficient and effective in manual testing; unafraid to engage with ambiguous, complex domains.

• Possess an engineering mindset: considers frameworks, test coverage strategies, and quality architecture.

• SQL skills for data validation across relational databases.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for work tracking; experience with TestRail or similar for test management.

• Experience in automation (Playwright, Cypress, or similar) — or a strong motivation to develop in this area.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of asynchronous work, remote-friendly, and proficient in English.
