Senior TypeScript/Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of API design by establishing and upholding stringent OpenAPI specifications prior to the commencement of implementation.

• Create and deploy high-performance microservices utilizing TypeScript and Node.js within a serverless AWS framework.

• Propel FinOps excellence by designing solutions with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and EventBridge to achieve a Scale-to-Zero cost model.

• Implement logical isolation patterns across services, ensuring rigorous tenant data separation through JWT policies and Row-Level Security.

• Ensure compliance with the Ad Context Protocol (AdCP) across all data models for a consistent AdTech data language.

• Create reusable "Golden Path" templates, shared libraries, and engineering best practices.

• Perform thorough code reviews with a focus on latency (<200ms), availability (99.99%), and observability.

• Convert product and commercial requirements into scalable technical specifications.

• Assist in the evolution of the overall platform architecture towards standardization and reusability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of production experience as a Back-End Developer.

• Strong practical expertise with TypeScript and Node.js.

• Demonstrated experience in designing API-first microservice architectures.

• In-depth knowledge of the AWS serverless ecosystem: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and IaC tools (CloudFormation or Terraform).

• Comprehensive AdTech domain expertise, including advertising data models and workflows.

• Significant experience in designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs with versioning, backward compatibility, and documentation.

• Strong grasp of multi-tenant architecture and logical data isolation patterns.

• Experience in building standardized platforms for multiple clients rather than custom solutions.

• Strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and observability in distributed systems.

• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Experience as a Lead Back-End Developer is an advantage.
