Senior Trial Court Staff Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide support to the judiciary in managing cases, handling ongoing litigation, processing both criminal and civil appeals, and addressing various legal matters.

• Prepare memoranda, legal opinions, and orders while also performing legal research.

• Evaluate briefs and case files thoroughly.

• Offer counsel to judges regarding ongoing litigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Juris Doctor degree from a recognized law school is mandatory.

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in legal practice or as a law clerk in either an appellate or trial court is required.

• Must secure membership in Good Standing with the Florida Bar within one year of employment.

• A valid Florida Driver’s License is necessary.
