Senior Trial Attorney – California

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Represent clients in court trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.

• Formulate case strategies and deliver arguments in front of judges and juries.

• Perform legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.

• Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and ready cases for trial.

• Negotiate settlements and plea deals when suitable.

• Offer legal advice and support to clients regarding litigation issues.

• Collaborate effectively with legal teams, paralegals, and investigators.

• Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents.

• Oversee and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.

• Examine and interpret complex employment law documents and contracts.

• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural standards.

• Engage in client development and business growth initiatives.

• Maintain thorough case files and documentation.

• Create and manage litigation budgets.

• Coordinate with expert witnesses and consultants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.

• At least 2 years of trial experience.

• Strong understanding of procedural rules, such as Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
