Senior Transportation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and implement analytics models and tools aimed at optimizing transportation costs, speed, and overall network efficiency.

• Take ownership and improve essential tools such as carrier dashboards, routing optimization tools, chargeback systems, and cost benchmarking engines.

• Provide predictive and real-time reporting on crucial KPIs including transit time, on-time delivery, and freight expenditures.

• Offer rapid, ad hoc decision support with a clear emphasis on business drivers and actionable insights, adhering to a 24-hour service level agreement (SLA).

• Work collaboratively across departments and support automation initiatives while contributing to high-impact, scalable analytics solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 6+ years of analytics experience, preferably in transportation, supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce operations (such as John Deere, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.).

• Proficient in SQL (Snowflake, Starburst, or similar) and advanced Excel; capable of independently writing and optimizing complex queries; skilled in Power BI, including creating dashboards and DAX measures from the ground up.

• Self-motivated problem solver who can navigate ambiguous business questions, define the scope, extract data, and provide actionable insights with minimal supervision.

• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; comfortable presenting findings directly to leaders and stakeholders based in the U.S., with experience collaborating across time zones with U.S. teams.

• Bonus: familiarity with carrier rate analysis, freight cost modeling, or data related to warehouse/inbound operations.
