Senior Transmission Line Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• You will oversee the creation of specifications, calculations, drawings, and scope documents for construction tenders and contracts.

• Coordinating and guiding design engineers and technical personnel to ensure the successful execution of projects you manage, meeting the defined scope while delivering high-quality results, within budget, and on schedule.

• Composing and refining technical reports and engineering studies.

• You will act as a liaison with clients and contractors, coordinating with various disciplines and permitting agencies while utilizing your project management expertise.

• You will have the opportunity to engage in a range of unique projects, with the flexibility to advance your career along various paths within the Power Delivery sector.

• You will play a role in a diverse company, connecting different sectors of infrastructure engineering that Stantec is involved with.

⛳️ Requirements

• PE is required or the ability to obtain it within one year.

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.

• Over 8 years of experience in designing overhead and underground high voltage and extra high voltage transmission lines, including route selection, line and structure placement, structure design and analysis, and the preparation of construction bid packages (experience in underground transmission design is an advantage).
