Senior Totara Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for the complete Totara development process.

• This includes frontend and backend work, as well as the design and integration of custom plugins.

• You will develop, tailor, and enhance Totara LMS solutions, addressing the specific needs of our German-speaking clients in collaboration with Product Owners.

• You will integrate clients' existing software solutions into the LMS using APIs.

• You will ensure performance, security, and code quality while continuously improving existing Totara architectures.

• You will serve as a sparring partner for your colleagues by conducting code reviews and offering technical support for complex challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in developing with Totara LMS (or extensive knowledge of Moodle).

• Proficiency in APIs, performance optimization, and security best practices.

• Excellent German language skills for effective coordination and implementation of requirements for our German-speaking clients.

• An independent, structured work style along with strong communication abilities.

• Capability to implement existing concepts and create your own solutions with a high level of initiative.

• High adaptability and enjoyment of agile collaboration with evolving requirements.

• Nice to have: knowledge of openEQUELLA, Bitbucket, and Jira.
