This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote the approved indications of BMS products within a designated territory to achieve or surpass assigned sales objectives in a compliant manner.
• Generate demand for BMS medications by articulating the clinical and scientific reasoning for suitable patients.
• Maintain and enhance scientific knowledge in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account strategies.
• Utilize CE^3 and other available tools to gather insights and inform call strategies.
• Present authorized scientific information to healthcare professionals with medical precision.
• Conduct in-office presentations, such as lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Organize external speaker events, including the selection of speakers, scheduling, and logistics management.
• Keep up-to-date expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
• Engage with Medical on Call for unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.
• Collaborate with other field teams to ensure the best Customer Experience.
• Collect and share customer insights internally with relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• Dedicate 100% of time in the field engaging with external customers.
• An advanced scientific degree and/or at least 5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology, including roles in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
• Capability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and persuasively to physicians.
• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and customer influence networks.
• Required experience in Hematology/Oncology.
• Strong account management competencies.
• Exceptional selling skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work efficiently across different functions.
• Strong promotional and selling abilities with a history of successful performance.
• Capacity to drive business outcomes.
• Experience in identifying, engaging, and building customer credibility throughout the patient care journey.
• Understanding of the patient journey and ability to tailor engagement and messaging accordingly.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• A strong learning mindset and a passion for science.
• Competence in analyzing prescribing behaviors, market trends, HCP preferences, customer preferences, and clinical data.
• Ability to segment HCPs based on preferences and relevant criteria.
• Proficiency in utilizing CE^3 for insights and adaptive call planning.
• Technological proficiency with digital communication channels, CE^3, CRM/software tools, and Medical on Call technology.
• Strong business acumen to analyze business and market drivers and develop, execute, and modify business plans.
• High integrity and sound judgment.
• For the company-provided vehicle: must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license in good standing issued by the state of residence, and have an acceptable driving risk level.
