This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Promote the approved uses of BMS products within a specified territory to achieve or surpass assigned sales goals while adhering to compliance standards.
• Generate demand for BMS medications by effectively conveying the clinical and scientific rationale for suitable patients.
• Sustain and enhance scientific knowledge regarding assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute thorough territory and account strategies.
• Utilize CE^3 and other available resources to extract insights and adapt call plans dynamically.
• Deliver sanctioned scientific information to healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-office presentations, including lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Arrange external speaker events, managing speaker selection, scheduling, and logistics.
• Keep current on emerging data related to approved indications.
• Collaborate with Medical on Call for unsolicited inquiries and intricate technical questions.
• Work alongside other field teams to ensure a strong customer experience.
• Collect and relay customer insights to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• Dedicate 100% of time to fieldwork with external customers.
• Advanced scientific degree and/or over 5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology, in roles such as healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nurse.
• Capability to communicate scientific or clinical data clearly and persuasively to physicians.
• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining credibility with key customers, office personnel, and customer influence networks.
• Prior experience in oncology is preferred.
• Excellent account management abilities and outstanding selling skills.
• Demonstrated sales performance with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Proficiency in working effectively across various functions.
• Strong selling and promotional abilities, supported by a successful performance history.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commercial approach.
• Proven ability to drive business outcomes.
• Experience in identifying, engaging, and fostering customer credibility throughout the patient care continuum.
• Understanding of the patient journey, with the ability to tailor engagement and deliver customized messaging.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific and clinical information.
• A strong learning mindset and a passion for scientific knowledge.
• Ability to evaluate prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data.
• Capability to segment HCPs and adjust communications and product presentations accordingly.
• Proficient in using CE^3 for insights and agile call planning.
• Familiarity with digital communication channels, CE^3, CRM tools, Medical on Call technology, the internet, and online resources.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze business and market drivers and to create, implement, and modify business plans.
• High integrity and sound judgment for compliant execution.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing from the state of residence.
