Senior Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain automated tests for API and end-to-end (E2E) workflows.

• Create test scenarios and test cases for backend systems as well as end-to-end processes.

• Validate API contracts and analyze error scenarios.

• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using Java and TypeScript.

• Analyze test results across functional, integration, and performance domains.

• Diagnose defects by utilizing logs, requests, and data.

• Maintain and expand tests within CI/CD pipelines.

• Review test code and collaborate closely with developers.

• Assist in requirements analysis, refinements, and sprint planning.

• Document defects clearly, including steps, logs, and recordings.

• Contribute to testing strategies, quality metrics, and process enhancements.

• Share expertise and support the broader team.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in test automation.

• Strong experience in API and/or end-to-end testing.

• Excellent knowledge of Java for backend test automation.

• Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured or Gatling.

• Familiarity with end-to-end automation utilizing Playwright.

• Good understanding of SQL for data validation purposes.

• Proficient in Git, including pull requests and code reviews.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle.

• Ability to design test cases based on risk assessment.

• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
