Senior Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Identify the testing efforts necessary based on design and requirement documentation.

• Develop test cases for both functional and regression testing.

• Generate test data to support the execution of test cases.

• Efficiently execute web application test cases to adhere to project timelines.

• Anticipate tasks to ensure schedule adherence and address issues to prevent delays.

• Monitor the progress of individual tests by regularly evaluating assigned work against deadlines.

• Utilize project tools for executing test cases and reporting defects.

• Provide testing status updates to team leads and management.

• Collaborate with client and partner representatives to address comments and resolve issues.

• Assist with the client's User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts.

• Aid clients in comprehending project scope.

• Contribute to test automation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in writing test cases for web applications.

• More than 4 years of experience in executing test cases for web applications.

• At least 4 years of experience implementing best practices for web application testing.

• 4+ years of experience in writing SQL queries to create and identify test data, as well as to validate outcomes.

• Strong interpersonal abilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Experience in a large and complex client environment.

• Proactive mindset to drive the completion of deliverables.

• Capability to interact with diverse groups, including managers and subject matter experts.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience in tracking testing efforts using Application Development Lifecycle Management (ADLM) tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, IBM Rational, SpiraTeam, etc.
