This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Effectively communicate the Companion Animal product range in ways that are relevant and meaningful to customers.
• Act as the main contact for assigned veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts.
• Engage with decision-makers to gain insights into practice structures, business models, influencers, and requirements.
• Formulate customer strategies, territory plans, and account plans.
• Discover business opportunities and drive growth in sales of Animal Health products and services.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, the Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners.
• Work in partnership with species teams to support the complete Animal Health product range.
• Share insights with regional team members to promote growth and professional development.
• Review monthly sales performance and manage expenses in accordance with budgetary constraints.
• Identify programs and services that meet customer needs while providing education and training.
• Create and present pertinent customer offerings in collaboration with leadership and Field Professional Services.
• Stay informed about Animal Health products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
• Relay customer, industry, product, and market trends across the organization.
• Establish and achieve learning and development goals set in agreement with leadership.
• High school diploma with a minimum of 10 years in sales or equivalent experience OR a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years in sales.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Strong motivation and focus on achieving measurable, tangible outcomes.
• Dedication to collaboration and effective problem-solving.
• Capability to comprehend customer needs and expectations while driving results.
• Proficiency in applying effective selling techniques and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and accounts at various stages of the sales process.
• Skills in identifying, developing, and independently managing accounts within a territory, including complex accounts.
• Competent in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in using an iPad.
• Capacity to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel overnight and participate in occasional weekend activities.
• Preferred experience in sales and/or the Animal Health industry.
• Preferred knowledge of animal health biological and pharmaceutical products.
• Understanding of or prior experience with distribution is preferred.
• Multilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, is preferred.
• A valid driving license is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time.
