This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Represent our brands in retail locations through effective merchandising: enhancing product assortment, optimizing shelf placement, creating displays, and restocking inventory.
• Introduce new products from our brands to grocery retailers across the territory.
• Cultivate positive and trusting relationships with all individual stores within your area.
• Foster positive and trusting relationships with all principal clients.
• Build positive and collaborative relationships with all Green Spoon team members and departments.
• Gain expertise in our brand partners, their products, and the best strategies for presenting and selling them in your assigned stores.
• Proactively support retailers, distributors, and principals during resets, store openings, and trade shows.
• Conduct store audits to maintain records of new and existing placements while ensuring quality communication with all retailers, distributors, principals, and Green Spoon team members.
• Establish positive and collaborative relationships with Distributor Account Managers (such as uNFI/KeHE, etc.).
• Collaborate and build relationships with distributor representatives in the territory, specifically UNFI & KeHE.
• Write turnover orders to fill inventory gaps, arrange case stack deals, and facilitate new item placements.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of all Green Spoon field tools, applications, and available selling resources.
• Update internal tracking applications daily.
• Utilize and maintain all required Green Spoon Field Tools.
• Actively participate in the Teams text stream, providing assistance and answering questions as needed.
• Lead the team call in the absence of the Regional Manager during scheduled Mondays.
• Prepare and coordinate with the Regional Manager in advance concerning call management responsibilities.
• Take responsibility for regional DOR (Direct Operating Responsibility) items, including but not limited to: Key Retailer Confirmations, Regional Key Retailer Tasks, and Independent affiliated focused Tasks (INFRA, NCG, ION).
• Assist in the training and development of new Territory Managers within the region.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Genuine interest in organic food and products.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between stores and carry samples.
• Ownership of a smartphone and computer to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Green Spoon provides Microsoft Office Suite.
• College degree preferred.
• Experience in natural food and grocery sectors required.
• Must excel in both verbal and written communication.
• Some overnight travel may be necessary based on geographic territory.
