This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Deliver high-level technical support and troubleshooting for telecommunications and networking solutions.
• Assess, diagnose, and resolve intricate technical challenges across various technologies and platforms.
• Review, confirm, and implement comprehensive technical designs and solutions.
• Oversee technical evaluations, solution delivery, and customer interactions.
• Manage installations, upgrades, migrations, and deployments of enterprise technology solutions.
• Analyze network performance issues utilizing packet analysis tools like Wireshark and PCAP traces.
• Work with customers, project teams, and engineering departments to ascertain requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and best practices.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.
• Assist with customer escalations and participate in on-call rotations as necessary.
• Support pre-sales activities, technical proposals, and solution recommendations.
• Keep abreast of new technologies, telecom standards, and industry developments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field along with 8+ years of professional experience; or 11+ years of equivalent professional experience in the absence of a degree.
• Deep understanding of fundamental telecommunications networking concepts.
• Familiarity with telecom standards and protocols.
• Experience with Diameter and SS7 protocols.
• Skilled in network packet analysis with tools like Wireshark and PCAP traces.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and system administration capabilities.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and during critical service disruptions.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
