Senior Technical Program Manager – Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the execution of essential security and compliance initiatives, including vulnerability management, security for mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure hardening, and datacenter security oversight.

• Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, Application, Legal, Privacy, and Security teams to create scalable programs and achieve vital security outcomes across various disciplines.

• Develop scalable frameworks and programs centered around key security initiatives such as vulnerability management, evidence gathering, incident response coordination, supply chain risk management, and device security.

• Monitor and enforce OpenAI’s privacy and security standards by converting commitments into engineering milestones and ensuring their comprehensive implementation across systems.

• Generate and sustain program-level visibility concerning risk areas, security milestones, and inter-organizational dependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in leading intricate technical programs focused on infrastructure security, data privacy, compliance, or enterprise platform functionalities.

• Deep expertise in the convergence of engineering systems, security controls, and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrated success in managing highly cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, infrastructure, legal, compliance, and product stakeholders.
