Senior Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of release planning and sprint coordination among internal engineering teams and external contractor groups.

• Monitor inter-team dependencies within a shared engineering resource model — a single missed communication can hinder multiple workflows at once.

• Oversee the existing KnotchOne platform delivery initiative — including weekly release schedules, maintenance-mode prioritization, and customer support incident management.

• Administer and track product and architectural milestones as a structured program: determining what will be supported, what will be ported, what will be rebuilt, and the sequence of these actions.

• Serve as a liaison between architectural decisions made at the Senior Vice President level and the daily activities of engineering teams.

• Challenge estimates with a deep understanding of technical concepts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-10+ years of experience in technical program or delivery management.

• Demonstrated ownership of intricate, multi-track product/engineering initiatives involving both internal teams and external contractors simultaneously.

• Possess technical knowledge — capable of engaging in architecture discussions, questioning timeline projections, and comprehending trade-offs without needing to code.

• Proven experience in managing platform migrations or maintenance-mode transition initiatives within active production settings.

• Excellent asynchronous communication skills: delivering clear executive-level status reports and comprehensive dependency maps on the same day.

• Ability to thrive in uncertain situations — this role is designed to create structure rather than simply inherit it.
