This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with cross-department partners to strategize programs and coordinate teams to achieve critical business goals
• Oversee engineering programs in all facets of program management – including planning, forecasting, documentation, scheduling, conducting effective meetings, prioritizing multifaceted tasks, managing dependencies, reporting, and effectively addressing critical and blocking issues
• Support engineering teams in adopting agile methodologies
• Create and execute metrics to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, while collecting and analyzing data to facilitate planning and data-driven decisions
• Provide updates on overall program status, offering insights and recommendations to senior management
• Foster organizational alignment and efficiency by working with multi-functional leaders and optimizing processes
• Collaborate with multi-functional matrix teams
• Assist teams in designing solutions that address advanced, complex, often competing and conflicting customer requirements
• Facilitate technical discussions to achieve successful outcomes
• Serve as a liaison between developers and customers, bridging gaps between technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, with proven program management expertise and a strong command of technical and management practices
• Over 10 years of program management experience, including a demonstrated ability to manage global projects and adapt to multiple time zones
• Proven ability to engage and moderate successful collaborations with engineering partners and vendors
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills for a variety of technical and non-technical audiences, coupled with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles and quality standards in enterprise systems
• Excellent multitasking skills with a focus on thoroughness and quick context switching
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools, along with project planning and task tracking systems
• Experience in AI training environments and resource capacity planning
• Proactive in identifying and implementing effective improvements in software engineering and release management
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Confluence) and distributed version control systems (e.g., Git)
