Senior Technical Producer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Manage, prioritize, allocate, and track all technical tasks within the engineering department.

• Conduct daily meetings with the Live Ops Lead and CTO to discuss the day's objectives, followed by one-on-one sessions with each programmer to ensure they are informed, on-task, and performing at peak efficiency.

• Actively identify and address any inefficiencies and obstacles, both within the engineering team and across departments, to maximize output effectiveness.

• Collaborate closely with other essential members of the production team, including overseeing the Technical Producer, working alongside the Director of Production (responsible for the content pipeline), and Executive Producers.

• Participate in gameplay reviews to maintain a clear, firsthand understanding of how technical implementations are affecting the player experience.

• Take ownership of the release management pipeline for new releases and unshipped content.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of direct experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 as an engineer.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 in a technical producer role.

• A strong, essential technical understanding of complex programming tasks combined with excellent managerial skills typical of a producer.

• Availability to work core hours from 10:00 AM PST to 5:00 PM PST.

• Willingness to be on-call for live issue resolution and to work extended hours during critical shipping periods to assist with major content launches.

• Experience with shipped titles credited as a Technical Producer, Lead Engineer, or in a similar technical/management hybrid role is advantageous.

• Extensive knowledge of Jira, Perforce, and modern release management tools is a plus.

• Familiarity with the ARK franchise (Survival Evolved / Survival Ascended) is a plus.
