Senior Technical Integration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Serving as the technical liaison for both external and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding and implementation phases.

• Overseeing, coordinating, and executing data integration and technology integration projects, which encompass EMR integrations, third-party vendor integrations, data retrievals, API connections, and SFTP data feeds with vendors.

• Facilitating discussions between internal and external technical and business stakeholders, designing, documenting, and presenting data flow diagrams, while managing integration projects to ensure successful delivery of final results.

• Converting clinical and operational requirements into technical configurations and workflows.

• Developing and maintaining integration documentation, which includes technical specifications, workflow and process diagrams, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Conducting data quality assurance and validation tasks, including executing scripts and performing manual checks for data format, completeness, and accuracy.

• Identifying and resolving integration issues, collaborating with engineering, vendor, or client teams as necessary.

• Overseeing go-live planning, execution, maintenance, and providing support post-implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Statistics, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical implementation, data integration, or data analytics within the healthcare sector.

• Proficient knowledge of healthcare data formats and standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, CCDA, XML, JSON).

• Familiarity with clinical vocabularies and coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, SNOMED, NPI, RXNORM).

• Extensive experience with data and technical integration projects, including ETL pipeline, data normalization/processing, SFTP, and API connections.

• Proficient in cross-team project tracking/documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with data quality assurance and validation processes.

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Bash for data querying and script execution.

• Demonstrated experience in leading technical implementation projects in healthcare, including client or vendor onboarding.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions), GCP, or Azure.

• Understanding of healthcare workflows (e.g., care management, risk adjustment, quality improvement, revenue cycle, prior authorizations, value-based care).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with clinical and technical stakeholders.
