This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate both independently and as part of a team to support and deliver designated cloud design/build and managed operations activities.
• Take the lead on intricate technical projects throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring accountability for schedules, scope alignment, dependencies, communications, risk management, issue resolution, budget adherence, staffing, and profit margins.
• Acknowledge the importance of implementing change management processes during active projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and engagement teams.
• Work with leadership to develop and enhance project management procedures, reporting, and optimization initiatives across technical delivery.
• Utilize technology, automation, and tools to improve workflows, visibility, and operational efficiency.
• Create or update training materials, project artifacts, and best practices to enhance consistent delivery execution.
• Partner closely with delivery leadership to meet utilization, forecasting, and performance targets.
• Promptly escalate client and project issues to engage the necessary resources for resolution.
• Take the initiative in risk reporting and identify high-risk clients, projects, dependencies, and technical delivery concerns for escalation.
• Collaborate with delivery leadership, quality management, sales, architects, engineers, and operations teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in technical project delivery for cloud design/build and M&O engagements.
• Apply knowledge of security principles and best practices to balance them with various compliance frameworks, providing appropriate guidance to clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes to advise clients accordingly.
• Execute and manage project management tasks individually across assigned client engagements.
• Lead projects through proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, dependency management, and issue resolution.
• Oversee overall project coordination: scheduling, task assignments, ensuring clear client communication, and escalating issues when necessary to guarantee successful resolution and project completion.
• Create and manage project schedules, adjusting work plans as needed to accommodate evolving client needs, delivery priorities, and technical requirements.
• Facilitate project status meetings, providing updates on schedules, dependencies, technical data requirements, action items, assignments, risks, issues, and changes.
• Communicate required project resources and collaborate with teams to assign individual responsibilities across technical and operational workstreams.
• Engage with clients throughout the entire engagement, interacting with various levels of client personnel and organizations, including occasional interactions with C-suite executives.
• Foster and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Over 6 years of experience in technical project/program management.
• More than 5 years of experience in external client-facing roles.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional technical projects through the entire project lifecycle.
• Strong skills in risk management, issue escalation, stakeholder communication, and executive-level reporting.
• Background in consulting or professional services with experience managing cloud or technical projects.
• Capability to independently oversee complex delivery schedules, dependencies, and coordination across multiple workstreams.
• Understanding of project management best practices with a successful track record in a professional services, consulting, or technology delivery environment.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, etc.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP platform capabilities and services.
• Understanding of SecOps, SOC/NOC, vulnerability management, incident response, disaster recovery, and continuous monitoring.
• Comprehension of the fundamentals of change management processes and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, including experience with executive-level communications.
• Experience with hybrid, Agile, or iterative delivery methodologies.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Experience utilizing technology automations, workflow tools, or AI-enabled strategies as part of process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical and consulting capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
• US citizenship is required due to client contractual obligations.
