Senior Technical Consultant – PubSec

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in sophisticated enterprise customer engagements across various work streams.

• Collaborate with partners to realize customer vision and fulfill essential deliverables.

• Provide hands-on advice to customers utilizing solution, technical, Salesforce product, industry, consulting, and client-business expertise.

• Implement enterprise desktop, cloud, and mobile solutions, including integrations via middleware tools and platforms.

• Create technical solutions that address customer business and technical needs.

• Lead the assessment and presentation of alternatives, educating customers and partners in the process.

• Identify and proactively address risks to ensure complete resolution.

• Contribute to customer success through both front-end and back-end solution development and release management.

• Offer guidance on best practices for application and integration development, enterprise architecture, solution architecture and design, environment management, testing, and Salesforce Platform education.

• Develop application and technical design documents that integrate Salesforce within customer infrastructure.

• Resolve implementation challenges and oversee the evaluation of business and technical specifications.

• Manage customer expectations while negotiating complex solutions with clients and third-party partners.

• Foster relationships with business partners and contribute to the growth of the broader practice.

• Drive internal strategic initiatives, mentor colleagues, and enhance the practice's knowledge base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Secret Clearance necessitates providing a verifiable work and residence history for 10 years, typically within Canada.

• Minimum of 3 years of enterprise consulting experience, including implementation with common enterprise software solutions such as CRM or ERP.

• At least 3 years of experience as an Architect or Senior Developer in a mid- to large-sized company.

• Proven leadership skills in driving organizational transformation within a matrixed environment.

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture, integration technologies, single sign-on, and master data management.

• Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile implementation methodologies.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• Demonstrated experience in leading customer and/or partner success in solution architecture, development and release management, change management, and solution design.

• Capacity to analyze, design, and enhance business processes through technology and integration.

• Ability to assist customers and colleagues in the deployment of emerging technologies.

• Excellent speaking, written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.

• Willingness to continuously learn about new technologies and functionalities.

• Expected travel to client locations averaging 25%, which may vary based on project engagement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.

• Must be a U.S. citizen, either U.S.-born or naturalized, without dual citizenship.

• Required to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation for a Moderate Public Trust position.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Canadian Government Security Clearance as a condition of employment.

• Salesforce product certifications are highly advantageous prior to joining.

• Expected to achieve Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, Agentforce Sales Consultant, Service Consultant, Agentforce Specialist, and JavaScript Developer certifications within the first 3 months.
