Senior Technical Consultant – Network SDN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in software-defined technologies.

• Have a comprehensive understanding of Cisco ACI, Cisco or Arista VxLAN, and VMware NSX (V & T) technologies.

• Engage in the deployment of complex solutions, produce written documentation, and facilitate client workshops.

• Capable of articulating and executing architecture strategies and approaches in a clear, concise manner to senior management and other stakeholders within the client organization.

• Able to implement design architecture objectives that align with client needs and business objectives.

• Possess strong listening skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Exhibit excellent situational leadership and timely decision-making abilities.

• Committed to achieving successful outcomes for customers.

• Ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels (both internally and externally).

• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

• Proven track record of delivering multiple IT projects on time and within budget.

• Ensure knowledge transfer to relevant client teams for the seamless operation of deployed solutions.

• Acquire and maintain relevant certifications along with associated qualifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in data centers within enterprise environments.

• Extensive hands-on technical expertise in Cisco, Arista, or VMware NSX large-scale data center deployments and migrations.

• Strong sense of ownership, problem-solving skills, urgency, and proactivity in overcoming challenges.

• In-depth knowledge of underlay and overlay concepts, segmentation strategies, and solution interoperability.

• Experience with VMware technologies, including NSX, NSX-T, and Avi.

• Strong understanding of VXLAN, OTV, EVPN/BGP, and overlay networking.

• Familiarity with AVI Networks load balancers, including GSLB, controllers, and data/control planes in VMware NSX environments.

• Proficient in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and automation.
