Senior Technical Assessor – Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and perform thorough technical interviews and assessments for senior-level Node.js development roles, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of candidates' technical abilities, experience, and cultural alignment.

• Develop and continually refine advanced assessment criteria and interview questions to align with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Node.js development.

• Work closely with HR and development teams to grasp intricate role requirements, desired skills, and team dynamics, customizing assessments accordingly.

• Deliver detailed, actionable feedback and recommendations to the hiring team, playing a crucial role in guiding hiring decisions.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in Node.js technologies, tools, and methodologies, ensuring that assessments are relevant and current.

• Lead comprehensive technical workshops or discussions to assess candidates’ practical skills in a collaborative setting.

• Guide and train junior technical assessors/interviewers, offering insights on best practices and interview strategies.

• Ensure a remarkable candidate experience throughout the technical assessment journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in software development roles, with a minimum of 5 years focusing on Node.js development.

• Profound understanding of Node.js, Express.js, and asynchronous programming.

• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React.js, Angular, Vue.js) and RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Sequelize, TypeORM).

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to assess complex technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor others.

• Extensive experience in designing sophisticated technical assessments and conducting technical interviews.

• Current knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in Node.js development.

• Capability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
