Senior Technical Architect, Advisor

📋 Description

• The Technical Delivery Lead is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of large-scale, intricate technical programs that frequently involve multiple teams, domains, and client organizations.

• This position demands exceptional leadership skills, profound technical knowledge in cloud and data engineering, and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.

• Guarantee architecture alignment and a robust technical strategy for extensive engineering teams.

• Serve as the principal technical authority and escalation point for complex issues that may affect delivery timelines or the integrity of solutions.

• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to provide reassurance, articulate risks, and deliver transparent updates on progress.

• Ensure that all solution designs and delivery activities adhere to security requirements and governance frameworks.

• Supervise engineering excellence, automation, and the adoption of contemporary DevOps practices within delivery teams.

• Convert complex technical challenges into business-oriented language that is appropriate for executive-level decision-making.

• Propel continuous enhancement of delivery processes, engineering standards, and productivity across teams.

• Coordinate the transition into operational support, ensuring that service, security, and support teams are prepared.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid UK Security Clearance (SC or higher)

• Extensive experience in leading large or multi-workstream technical delivery programs within cloud, data, or platform environments

• Expert-level understanding of Azure services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Key Vault, Azure DevOps, and Azure Networking.

• Technical proficiency in orchestration, performance optimization, and large-scale data processing

• Proven experience in communicating complex technical matters in a clear and concise manner suitable for non-technical audiences, including senior executives.

• Strong capability to manage and influence senior client stakeholders, such as program directors, C-suite representatives, and governance boards.

• A demonstrated history of managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams across architecture, data engineering, software development, and testing

• Ability to identify, quantify, manage, and mitigate technical and delivery risks across large-scale programs
