Senior Technical Analyst – Utilities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Offer expert consulting on best practices for data management, covering workflows, tools, governance frameworks, and integration methods.

• Spearhead the design and deployment of enterprise GIS and Utility Network solutions.

• Execute data model design and development, utilizing advanced geospatial analysis techniques.

• Collaborate with developers to deliver GIS support, training, assistance, and troubleshooting services.

• Aid in the development and upkeep of Esri-based GIS solutions and applications.

• Construct intricate data migration and ETL processes.

• Offer continuous support for GIS programs and operations that necessitate programming and analysis.

• Create technical documentation for training purposes and user workflows.

• Support Project Managers and Developers in achieving project deliverables and timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year institution in GIS, Surveying, Engineering, Geography, Information Systems, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS software, including Desktop, Extensions, ArcGIS Enterprise Server, and Portal.

• Expertise in ArcGIS Pro and enterprise geodatabases.

• Experience in managing Esri versions and versioning schemes.

• Experience in producing ArcGIS data services.

• Familiarity with Data Reviewer, Utility Networks, and Attribute Rules.

• Familiarity with FME/Data Interoperability.

• Competence in SQL Server development and usage.

• Fluency in SQL, Python, ArcPy, Arcade, and other spatial data processing tools.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
