
Senior Technical Analyst – Laboratory Data Acquisition, Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Assist in the technical design of data acquisition software architecture for laboratory instruments.
• Set up and manage on-premises and AWS cloud infrastructure for software deployments in laboratories.
• Serve as the main technical liaison for operational support teams and laboratory personnel.
• Diagnose connectivity issues between laboratory instruments, software integrations, and infrastructure.
• Organize deployment efforts alongside various global MSD teams in line with migration strategies.
• Create, implement, and maintain SDLC documentation, validation records, and technical testing scripts.
• Aid in software configuration, building, validation, release management, and post-production activities.
• Engage in project meetings with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Generate IQ/OQ documentation and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Produce technical documentation, user manuals, and conduct training sessions.
• Oversee and coordinate small technical teams as needed.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting data acquisition software for laboratory instruments within pharmaceutical R&D.
• Extensive experience with chromatography data systems (CDS) managing over 50 instruments and users.
• Proficient in troubleshooting connectivity between instruments and software.
• Familiarity with laboratory workflows in both GxP and non-GxP settings.
• Practical experience with Microsoft technologies and AWS cloud services.
• Skilled in configuring infrastructure for laboratory software platforms.
• Understanding of hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical settings.
• Strong grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to create and execute IQ, OQ, validation documentation, and test scripts.
• Experience in supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring small technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Capable of clearly articulating complex technical decisions.
• Experience in producing technical documentation and providing end-user training.
• Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, Xray or Vera, and ServiceNow is desirable.
• Experience in supporting global laboratory operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of laboratory migration or digital transformation projects is a plus.
