
Senior Technical Advisor β Protection and Safeguarding in Emergencies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Deliver specialized training and technical assistance to the project consortium and implementation teams.
β’ Work in partnership with other consortium members and World Vision US to design and monitor high-quality interventions for protection in humanitarian contexts.
β’ Develop and oversee research, learning, and evidence-building initiatives related to protection in humanitarian environments.
β’ Provide strategic technical direction on sector-specific matters to ensure that effective practices, recent advancements, and lessons learned are integrated into the project programming.
β’ Engage in the technical oversight of grant-funded initiatives and portfolios.
β’ Evaluate and offer sectoral insights on implementation reports and Post-Distribution Monitoring.
β’ Assist in the creation and dissemination of evidence and best practices.
β’ A Master's degree is required.
β’ A minimum of 6 years of relevant international technical experience, professional experience, or experience in a research institution is necessary.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
β’ Ability to build strong cross-cultural relationships is essential.
β’ Demonstrated experience in securing and/or managing substantial funding from institutional donors is required.
β’ In-depth technical expertise in at least one sector is mandatory.
β’ Proficiency in a language other than English is preferred.
