Senior Technical Account Manager – Cloud Provider, AI & Data Center Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Gather insights from customers, account teams, specialists, product teams, and industry analysts to shape the Go-To-Market (GTM) and Product Strategy for hyperscale Cloud Providers, digital natives, and neo cloud networks.

• Persuade internal stakeholders, including HPE Networking executives and finance, to secure backing for the Cloud GTM and Product Strategy.

• Collaborate across business units to establish best practices for integrating networking with compute and storage solutions.

• Partner with hyperscalers, large enterprises, service providers, and technology partners to co-create solutions for emerging workloads.

• Monitor, investigate, document, and disseminate trends and patterns in Cloud networking innovations and industry developments.

• Collaborate with Territory Account Managers and Sales Engineers to ensure that the most up-to-date and forward-looking designs and products are presented to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 15 years of technical experience in network infrastructure architecture, design, and solutions consulting, focusing on large-scale AI and Cloud Data Center in hyperscale networking environments.

• More than 15 years of industry experience leveraging technical expertise with JunOS, EOS, IOS, and hyperscale network architecture frameworks.

• Possession of JNCIE or an equivalent certification.

• Proven track record in designing, developing, and "selling" innovative, industry-leading strategic plans.

• Extensive hands-on experience with hyperscale routing, MPLS traffic engineering, switching, SDN overlays (EVPN/VXLAN, MP-BGP), Network Fabrics, DCI solutions, network provisioning, automation, and monitoring (Apstra, Paragon, NETCONF/REST APIs, YANG).

• Knowledge of major networking silicon, hardware platforms, and associated software (e.g., Juniper, Arista, Cisco, SONiC, Cumulus, etc.).

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in virtualization technologies on x86, with scalability using technologies such as DPDK, SR-IOV, SmartNICs, etc.

• Demonstrated success in complex pre-sales roles, with a strong capacity to build relationships with senior technical and C-Level stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence diverse technical and business audiences.

• In-depth, hands-on familiarity with Generative AI technologies, proactively using them to enhance workflows and improve individual efficiency.

• Experience in preparing RFP/Tender response documents, ensuring compliance with the RFP, creating bill of materials, and developing commercial/pricing and solution documents to ensure successful responses.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including the potential for international travel on short notice.
