This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Cultivate and maintain extensive knowledge of the DigitalOcean product range and the dynamic cloud landscape.
• Assist in designing, outlining, and strategizing infrastructure architectures customized to customer requirements, articulating solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate regular technical consultation sessions and workshops that empower customers to autonomously manage their cloud environments.
• Oversee and support DigitalOcean’s key client accounts.
• Collaborate closely with customers to enhance engagement, retention, and growth of their DigitalOcean workloads.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key accounts to evaluate their progress, comprehend their changing needs, and align on strategies for future development.
• Spot opportunities for cost savings and performance enhancements, advising customers to make informed decisions that optimize their cloud investments.
• Represent the customer’s voice within DigitalOcean, ensuring their requirements are considered in product development and support frameworks.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Support teams to swiftly address escalations and technical issues, ensuring seamless customer interactions.
• Demonstrated experience in cloud infrastructure with a solid understanding of Linux, distributed systems, and automation.
• Experience in programming or development, with foundational knowledge in at least one mainstream programming language (e.g., Python, Go).
• Familiarity with provisioning and deployment methodologies, as well as knowledge of tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
• Proficiency in at least one leading cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
• A proven history of effectively troubleshooting technical issues.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), SQL, basic database management, CI/CD tools, and principles of AI/ML infrastructure.
