This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct the daily operations of designated client team members, focusing on performance metrics, accountability, task delegation, and performance assessments.
• Ensure the smooth integration of services from the Project Management team.
• Foster the growth and development of the Project Management team, including succession planning and individual development plans.
• Manage study milestones and maintain proactive communication with clients.
• Implement best practices for budget and risk management while keeping accurate system documentation.
• Coordinate and track progress towards Project Management objectives.
• Engage proactively with clients to discuss the implications of their decisions and clarify their definitions of success.
• Promote and oversee continuous improvement, quality, and productivity through the consistent application, utilization, and evaluation of SOPs.
• Monitor and resolve client escalations, issues, and concerns effectively.
• Identify, track, and swiftly address service failures while taking preventive measures.
• Collaborate across teams and functions to facilitate global operations, work with BD Directors, eliminate obstacles, and enhance client delivery.
• Coordinate and manage a regional team and global clients to execute team strategies, structures, processes, and metrics.
• Deliver exceptional client satisfaction for Central Laboratory Services.
• Bachelor's degree in life science, medical, scientific, technical, or laboratory discipline.
• 5 or more years of experience in a leadership role.
• At least 2 years of experience managing leaders with direct reports.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience leading pharmaceutical or biotechnology projects.
• Preferably 2 or more years of experience in Central Laboratory Services.
• At least 1 year of experience in clinical research is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in leading database management, study design, or global project management within the clinical research sector is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in quality event management (CAPA handling) is preferred.
• Experience managing leaders and larger teams of 20 or more individuals.
• Ability to inspire teamwork and motivate personnel in a multi-regional, matrixed environment.
• Strong negotiation capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
• High level of initiative and capability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiencies in planning, problem-solving, and organizational execution.
• Proven success in driving continuous improvement and managing change.
• Experience in team building, influencing stakeholders, and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and meeting quality standards.
