Senior Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with and assist the firm's Director in guiding and overseeing the local team.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients transitioning from retiring partners.

• Function as the primary relationship manager for new clients.

• Partner with the firm's executive team and Director to formulate and implement the firm's growth strategies, product offerings, and operational plans.

• Oversee and manage tax return engagements for individuals, businesses (c-corps, s-corps, and partnerships), and trusts.

• Spearhead the firm's consulting and advisory initiatives within the region.

• Direct and manage staff in areas of research, training, and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7 to 12 years of experience in preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, and estate tax returns.

• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• CPA or EA certification is mandatory.

• Proven experience in managing staff and maintaining client relationships.

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage attention effectively.

• A proprietor mentality and a strong work ethic.
