• Tax strategy development and preparation for affluent individuals and their associated entities.
• Conducting initial reviews of select individual and fiduciary tax returns.
• Ensuring adherence to all federal and state filing obligations on behalf of clients.
• Serving as a resource for business management teams regarding tax planning, tax research, and the ongoing education of tax-related updates.
• Supporting Tax Managers in regularly training both permanent and seasonal tax preparation personnel.
• Assisting in disseminating pertinent tax updates to clients via newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with over 3 years of relevant experience.
• A proven focus on preparing individual, fiduciary, partnership, and S-corp tax returns, particularly for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem-solving, technological, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, with a demonstrated capability to learn new technologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail, proactive follow-through, and excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours during peak season as required.
