Senior Software Engineer – Tax Platform

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, resilient, and secure microservices and data processing systems utilizing idiomatic Golang.

• Model intricate, long-lasting tax reporting business logic as durable, stateful workflows using Temporal to ensure precision and reliability.

• Implement and enhance data pipelines that process financial events from Redpanda, ensuring data quality, timeliness, and integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising tax analysts, legal experts, and product managers to translate complex and evolving regulatory requirements into robust, maintainable, and verifiable software solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting best practices in distributed system design, API definition with gRPC, code quality, and advanced testing strategies.

• Construct systems with auditability, traceability, and data lineage as primary concerns to ensure transparency for auditors and regulators.

• Take ownership of the entire lifecycle of your services, including automated deployment (CI/CD with tools such as Jenkins and Terraform), proactive monitoring, and incident response, adhering to a "you build it, you run it" philosophy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, demonstrating a successful history of delivering and operating complex, large-scale systems in production.

• Extensive, hands-on expertise in Golang, including a strong grasp of its concurrency models (goroutines, channels), memory management, and standard library.

• Proven experience in designing, constructing, and reasoning about distributed systems, with a solid understanding of microservices architecture and API design patterns (e.g., REST, gRPC).

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to break down complex requirements into clear technical components and exceptional communication skills for collaboration in a cross-functional setting.
