Senior Tax Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of around 150–200 small businesses and intricate individual tax returns (Schedule C, rentals, investments).

• Facilitate client communications through phone and Zoom, clearly articulating tax positions, strategies, and outcomes in a consultative manner.

• Engage in hands-on tax preparation and review, with final approval managed at the leadership level of the firm.

• Collaborate with clients on forward-thinking tax planning, including quarterly advisory discussions aimed at minimizing liabilities and preventing year-end surprises.

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Arkansas tax code to ensure compliance and deliver customized guidance.

• Enhance a high-touch client experience by blending technical expertise with practical, real-world advice.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA certification is mandatory.

• 3–5+ years of tax experience, ideally in a public accounting setting.

• Comprehensive understanding of Arkansas tax regulations.

• Experience working with small business clients and handling complex individual returns.

• Comfortable in a client-facing, advisory-focused position.
